Patrick R. Fitzgerald

Patrick R. Fitzgerald, 72, of South Kingstown, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia J. (Davis) Fitzgerald. Born in San Francisco, CA, he was the son of the late Frank R. and Norma Gene (Cheek) Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a 1980 graduate with a BS from Salve Regina University. He worked as an orderly at South County Hospital for many years. He was the father of Michele Pupillo, Sean, Kevin and Keith Fitzgerald; grandfather of Sean, Daniel, Rebecca and Kirstin; brother of Joy L. (Fitzgerald) Garcia and Frances Jean (Fitzgerald) Gracey. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
