Patricia Donlan Traynor

Patricia Donlan Traynor, 79, of Charlestown, RI, and formerly of Lynbrook, NY, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, in Wakefield, RI. She was the beloved wife of Richard Traynor for 53 fun-filled years. Born in Queens, NY, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mae (Medler) Donlan. She graduated from Mary Lewis Academy, and Phi Beta Kappa from Queens College in NY. Mrs. Traynor volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in Rhode Island. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Susan Serra, her husband Dominick, and their children Rick and Alyssa Serra of Newark, DE; Carol Mayer and her husband Steven, and their children Stephanie, Samantha, and Jaime Mayer of Sherborn, MA; and Kathy Traynor and her husband Keith Donovan and Keith's daughter Katie Donovan of Barnstead, NH. She was the sister of the late Peggy Bambrick of Cleveland, Ohio. A funeral service will be 11 AM Monday at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield.
