Patricia C. Salisbury (Cottrell), 85, of Wakefield, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Frank E. Salisbury. Born in South Kingstown, a daughter of the late John Jessie and Helen Huldah (Smith) Cottrell. Mrs. Salisbury was an insurance underwriter for the Patron’s Fire Insurance Company for many years before retiring. She was a past master of the Richmond Grange #6; a member of the Pomona, State and National Grange; the Kingston Congregational Church; the Queens River American Baptist Church; the R.I. Ayrshire Club; the 4-H Alumni and a supporter of Rhody Fresh. She is survived by her children, Pamella J. Jeffrey and her husband William of Wakefield and Craig R. Hawksley and his wife Bonnie of West Kingston; three grandchildren, Kelly P. Boutin and her wife Kimberly of Warwick, Christopher G. Burne of West Kingston and Travis M. Hawksley of West Kingston; two step-grandchildren, Sarah R. Mayoh and her husband Jason and David C. Jeffrey and his wife Beth; a sister, H. Gertrude Hawksley of Wakefield and a brother, Richard F. Cottrell of Richmond. She was the sister of the late John J. Cottrell, Jr., Edith C. Boothroyd, Elma C. Christopher, Marion Roehl, Janis C. Recher and Oliver C. Cottrell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 1–3 PM in the Richmond Grange, 680 Usquepaugh Rd., Rte. 138, West Kingston.
