Patricia Ann Kopka

Patricia Ann (Brown) Kopka, 79, of Narragansett, passed away on April 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia (Pat) was born on March 23, 1943, beloved daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Marshall) Brown of Providence, RI. After graduating from St. Patrick’s Academy in 1961, Pat married John Kopka with whom she shared 59 wonderful years and raised two sons. Pat worked at the Old Stone Bank and later as a realtor for Bay Realty. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening, boating, and life by the water at her Narragansett home. In later years, she and husband John wintered in Northport, FL. She was the beloved mother of Jack Kopka and daughter-in-law Kathryn, Kris Kopka and daughter-in-law Meagan, and was a loving grandmother to Amanda, Brooke, and Brady. Pat is predeceased by her brothers George and Walter Brown and survived by her brothers James and Robert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 11 AM in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, April 5th from 4 to 6 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice of R.I., 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 in memory of Patricia Kopka.
