The world became a little dimmer on October 31, 2025, when Trish Harris left us after a life filled with love, laughter and smiles. It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister and friend.
Trish was born in Providence on January 25, 1965. She is survived by her beloved husband James (Bo) Harris and cherished daughter Jamie LeBreton along with her son-in-law Michael. She was the proud companion of her two beloved dogs "babies" Dexter and Daizy. Trish is predeceased by her father Pasquale (Pat) Corrado and leaves behind her mother Claire Corrado, her sister Barbara Fontenault (husband Marcel), Her twin sister Paula Hill-Lussier (husband David), and sister Lisa Pestana (husband Michael) along with nieces, nephews and friends.
A woman of great strength and love, Trish was known for her determination, strong will, and devotion to her family and friends. She had an infectious spirit that would brighten any room. Whether singing her heart out, going to Jamie's singing competitions, helping lost dogs find their way home, talking on the phone, or enjoying a cold Michelob Ultra and an apple pie shot, her laughter, warmth and support were a source of comfort and joy for all who knew her.
Trish and Bo's love story began at the Galilee Fish Market, a family business, owned by her aunty Janet and uncle Tom Dailey, where Trish worked for many years. It was there where she met her soulmate, and together they built a life centered around love, family and their shared dream to own their own Plumbing and Heating business, where Trish served as the dedicated secretary. She was incredibly proud of the life she and Bo created together and the legacy they built in Narragansett, Rhode Island.
Her love for animals, especially dogs, was well-known, and she had a deep passion for helping animals in need. Trish also loved to spend time in Maine with her family, where she created lasting memories in the place she held so dear. She was a true friend, always ready to lend a helping hand, share a laugh, or simply listen when you needed an ear.
Trish will be remembered for her boundless love, her devotion to her family, and her remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel special. She was a woman who loved with all her heart and her absence leaves a void felt by many.
Visiting hours in celebration of her life well lived, will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI. A reception will follow at the South Kingstown Elks 60 Belmont Avenue, Wakefield, RI.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made in Trish's memory to Vintage Pet Rescue, an organization dedicated to rescuing and providing a loving home for senior and special need dogs.
Her family would also like to express their sincere gratitude to the ICU staff at South County Hospital. The love and care Trish received was the greatest gift to her and her family through an unimaginable time. We are forever grateful to them for checking in on her even on days when they weren't assigned to her. They treated her and her family as if it were their own.
Trish's song may have ended, but the melody of her life will echo in the hearts of all who knew her. She is our sunshine.
