Patricia "Dawn" (Carmody) Hampton, 72, of Charlestown, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Born in Providence, she was the loving daughter of the late Albert and Anne (Zakrewski) Carmody.

Dawn was known for her kindness, warmth, and easy friendliness. She adored animals and nature and loved living in Charlestown. She never missed a party or celebration, and her laugh could light up a crowded room.

She is survived by her daughters, Emily (Scott) James of Richmond and Rachel (Bryan) Hampton of Cranston; her grandchildren, Ellis and Heath; and her sister, Jane MacManus of South Kingstown.
