Patricia Connelly Buonanno

Patricia Connelly Buonanno, 73, of Wakefield, RI. died January 14, 2015. “Patsy” Buonanno, daughter of Robert and Vivian Connelly, and loving wife of Joseph “Jay” Eddy Buonanno, Jr., died peacefully after a long illness. Predeceased by her mother, father, and brother, Robert Connelly, Jr., son-in-law, Stephen Hayes, and granddaughter, Amanda Andrews. Surviving is her loving husband, Jay; son, John and his wife Meghan; and daughters Jodi and her husband Theodore; Melissa and her husband Gregory; and Lesley Hayes. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pat was a fashion executive until her retirement in 1989 and loved great style almost as much as her glorious gardens. Pat cherished our beautiful coast and was often found on the beach with family, friends and a rescued greyhound or two. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 from 9:00AM - 10:00AM at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield, RI.
