Patricia J. Black (Farrell), 87, of Narragansett, passed on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was the beloved wife of James H. Black for 57 years. Born in West Warwick, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Russell) Farrell. Mrs. Black was a legal secretary for many years and always found enjoyment with being with her husband and her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her brother in law Henry Reynolds of Duxbury, MA, sister in law Sheila A. Zuhusky of Sanibel Island, FL, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Alice Reynolds, James Farrell, Mary “Betty” Hobin. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 9:30-10:30am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial Celebrated at 11:00 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Narragansett. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd, Narragansett, RI, 02882.
