Patricia A. Barrett

Patricia A. Barrett, 90, of Kingston, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Barrett. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Barbara (Armstrong) Damon. Mrs. Barrett was a school teacher at the Wickford Elementary School for many years, before retiring. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Kingston Improvement Association, and she volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by three sons, Robert D. Barrett of Beaumont, CA, Richard W. Barrett of Keller, TX and Dr. John W. Barrett of Wakefield; a brother, Chester Damon of High Falls, NY; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Albert Damon. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Saturday, October 9th from 3-5 PM. Burial will be private in Old Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
