Pamela J. Thayer

Pamela Jean (Cady) Thayer passed away peacefully at Scallop Shell Nursing Home in the early morning of

Monday January 27, 2025. She was born on December 21, 1946 to the late Margaret Mary (Carroll) and

Malcolm Cameron Cady.

A graduate of Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY with a B.A. in Political Science, Pam enjoyed boating,

walking on the beach, and taking cruises with her sister. She had a great love for animals, especially

dogs.

Pamela leaves behind her husband, Gary Pendleton Thayer of S. Kingstown, Rhode Island, brother,

Donald Cady and wife Joan of Ft. Myers, Florida; nephew Peter Hutchinson and wife CherylAnn of S.

Kingstown, Rhode Island, and niece Melissa Guenther and husband Hans of Germantown, Tennessee.

She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews to include Alex, Amy,

Asha, Brian, Cameron, Christian, Dexter, Elliot, Eric, Joshua, Mac, Nova and Sarah.

Services for Pam will be announced at a later date.
