Olga A. Beauchamp, 86, of East Greenwich, RI passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. Born on July 27, 1939, Olga was one of eight Sullivan children of Providence and spent decades as a mother, sister, aunt, cousin, wife, and grandmother to a family that, for her, spanned more than five generations.
Olga was the quintessential Italian/Irish matriarch - an extraordinary cook (especially her pizza and Grammy's chicken soup),a heritage traditionalist, and hostess to the most memorable holidays. She loved her children and grandchildren with a vengeance and worked tirelessly everyday to ensure their happiness and safety. She had the best sense of humor in the world and occasionally enjoyed a good tease. She was sacrificial, giving, always thoughtful, and extremely empathetic. Olga spent her professional career as a medical office manager to a number of well-known physicians and spent years as a volunteer and contributor to charitable and community organizations like the Nina Foundation and her various parishes.
She is predeceased by her parents, Olga and Edward Sullivan, her sister Eileen, brother Richard, and the love of her life, Carl C. Beauchamp. Olga is survived by five siblings, Gail, Mary, Chuck, George, and Deb and three siblings-in-law, Diane, Michael, and Elaine, as well as her three children and their spouses, Susan and Stanley Baran of Charlestown, Carl Beauchamp of North Kingstown, and David and Jennifer Beauchamp of Smithfield. Olga (aka "Grammy") also says her final goodbye to eight grandchildren, Jordan (husband Jon), Matthew ( fiancé Madison), Carl Ed Jr. ( wife Blaine), Julia, Kayla, Eden, Tess, and Maggie, and two great-grandchildren, Amirah and Amari.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 17th, 2026 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Parish, 65 3rd Street, East Greenwich, RI. Burial will be private. Calling hours for Olga will be Thursday, July 16th from 4 to 7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island (www.biari.org)
A Celebration of life for Olga will be held at a later date.
