Norman Madden, 93, of Narragansett, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph Madden and Alice (Trombley) Madden. He was the husband of Lois (Forsman) Madden for 63 wonderful years. Norman served honorably in the Army Airforce as Corporal Officer. He worked for over 50 years as a contractor for Madden Construction throughout Warwick and Narragansett. He was a communicant of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed family vacations and his “splash”. Norman’s whole world was his family. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters Karen McPeake and her husband Barry of Narragansett; Susan Malley and her husband Dennis of Virginia; Nancy Weber of Narragansett; Gail Cirelli of Narragansett; and father-in-law to the late Francis Weber. He was the beloved grandfather of Ryan McPeake and his wife Sarah; Katelyn McPeake and her fiancé Steve; Shannon Weber and her fiancé Eric; John Weber and his wife Kayla; Briana Malley; Brandon Malley; Suzanne Cook and her husband Kevin; Michael Cirelli; and Nicholas Cirelli. Norman was also the great grandfather to Owen, Haylee, Daisy, Josephine, Nova, and Frederick. He was the brother of the late Robert, Raymond, Steven, Louis, and Dolly Madden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 10am in St. Mary Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, or to the Special Olympics at specialolympics.org.
