Norman G. Champlin, 84, of South Kingstown, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020. Born on August 6, 1936, in Slocum, Rhode Island. He was the son of the late Harold and Bernice (Holmes) Champlin. He worked as a fabricator at Electric Boat for many years and enjoyed genealogy. He is survived by his sister, Janet Traynor and her husband Hal of Modesto, CA; sister-in-law, Shirley Champlin of Narragansett; his niece Faith A. Gamble and her husband, the late Thomas and nephews, Jason and his wife Karen and Jeff Johnson all of Alabama. He was the brother of the late Arthur Champlin and uncle of the late Alvin Johnson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Margaret and Steve for all your help. Visitation will be held Monday, September 21, 2020, from 9-10 am with a funeral service at 10 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will follow at New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
