Nicholas R. Duckworth

Nicholas R. Duckworth, 21 of John St. Narragansett died unexpectedly Wednesday December 19, 2012. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of Edward Duckworth Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Narragansett and Colleen Weeks Thompson of North Kingstown. Nick was a commercial fisherman out of Pt. Judith working on the F/V Sandra B. He attended South Kingstown High School, was a volunteer fire fighter with the Matunuck Fire Department and enjoyed small engine repair. He was the brother of Patrick Duckworth of Narragansett, Meghan Duckworth of Narragansett, Andrew Duckworth of South Kingstown, Zachary and Samuel Duckworth of Narragansett; grandson of Patricia Duckworth-Vallette of South Kingstown and James and Sandra Weeks of Narragansett; uncle of Trenton and Colton Fredette. He also leaves many aunts and uncles and was the longtime friend of Kelsey Lynch of Wakefield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 29th at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pt.
