Nicholas David Difrancesco

Nicholas D. DiFrancesco, 89, of Narragansett, passed away Friday, January 14 2022. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carol Ann DiFrancesco. Born in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, a son of the late Dominick and Elia DiFrancesco. He was a proud US Air Force Veteran having served as an engineer in Korea building hospitals, orphanages and schools. Mr. DiFrancesco and his wife donated over 10,000 hours of their time together volunteering at South County Hospital. He is survived by two children, Peter Hutchinson and his wife CherylAnn of South Kingstown and Melissa Guenther and her husband Hans of Germantown, TN; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; five nieces and nephews and Brother Mauro and his wife Rulene of Somerset NJ. A private service with Military Honors was held before burial at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter RI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South County Hospital Auxiliary (in name of Nicholas DiFrancesco on memo), 100 Kenyon Avenue, Wakefield, RI 02879.
