Nelson C. Crook

Nelson C. Crook, 88, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Rita M. (Andreasen) Crook. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Alice (Mayoh) Crook. Nelson was a banker for Old Colony Cooperative Bank for 44 years and retired from Washington Trust Company. He was an avid sailor and a member of the Wakefield Rotary Club. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Elizabeth Bernstrom and her husband Stephen of Cranston, Matthew C. Crook, his wife Leonora and their children Lucas and Cameron of Wakefield, Frank C. Crook and Andrew C. Crook, both of Warwick and a sister Joan King of Warwick. Services will be private.
