Nancy Jane Wall

Nancy Jane (Lewis) Wall of Matunuck Brook Farm, Wakefield died peacefully on Saturday April 16, 2011 in her home surrounded by family. Born in Providence, RI, Mrs. Wall was the daughter of the late Arthur Hamilton Watson and Mildred Pennypacker Lewis and the sister of Anne Watson Baker of Westport, MA. She was the wife of the late Ashbel Tingley Wall of Providence, RI. Mrs. Wall was the mother of twins; Mildred Burdick Walz of Wakefield, RI and Jane Burdick Baggs of Sebastion, FL; a son, Ralph Van Inwegen Burdick III; twins, Barbara Watson Burdick of Wakefield, RI and Arthur Lewis Burdick of Vero Beach, FL.; grandmother of six; Kathryn Pennypacker Baggs Lulich, Margaret Burdick Walz and Arthur Lewis Mason Walz, Matthew Bainbridge Bowden, Brooke Thomson Burdick and Macie Taylor Burdick; great grandmother to Hanna Rose Lulich. Mrs. Wall was a proud member of The Colonial Dames Society and an active member in the Garden Club of America. Her passions and talents included; gardening, needlepoint, flower arrangement, animals, The National Audubon Society, and any Animal Rescue League. Mrs. Wall was a long standing member of the Dunes Club of Narragansett, RI and enjoyed spending time with family and friends there throughout the summer. At Mrs. Wall's request there will be a private family service held in celebration of her life. Thank you to family and friends for your well wishes and prayers.
