Nancy Ann Notarantonio (Klenota), of Narragansett, RI, and Vero Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Pasquale (Pat) Edward Notarantonio for 58 years.
Nancy was born on November 9, 1938, in Providence, RI. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Rose Alice Klenota.
Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She was a fantastic cook and welcomed all to her home. Nancy loved playing cards and games, tackling her daily crossword puzzles, watching her “soaps,” and couldn’t resist a Reese’s peanut butter cup. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived her life to the fullest and recently enjoyed a wonderful family vacation to London and Sicily.
Nancy is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law: Marisa and Scott Lonkart, and Julie and Juan Oliveras; her sister Karen Massey of Delaware, and her brothers Willard Klenota of Virginia and James Klenota of Connecticut. She was predeceased by her sister Elaine Kelly. She had a special relationship with both of her sons-in-law. Nancy’s pride and joy were her four grandchildren: Adam Oliveras, Sophia Oliveras, Ryan Lonkart, and Olivia Lonkart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Mark Catholic Church, 60 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI. Burial to follow at St. Mark Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Nancy’s name to Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Avenue, Suite 201, Pawtucket, RI 02860, www.gloriagemma.org
