Nancy G. Monmonier

Nancy G. Monmonier, 83, of Stellar Way, Wakefield, RI formerly of Baltimore, MD & Ocean City, MD died Tuesday August 7, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late J. Carroll Monmonier, III. They were married to for 55 years. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Richard D. and Ethel (Collins) Goldsborough. Nancy was a devoted and loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and she was a devout member of the Catholic Church. She dedicated her life to her family and faith. She was a role model to all for her thoughtfulness, kindness, generosity and was truly loved and will be missed deeply by all her family and friends. Her greatest enjoyments were cooking, baking, knitting, quilting and sewing for her family. She was famous for her wonderful Maryland Crab Cakes and Chocolate Cream Pies. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church of Assisi of Wakefield, RI and communicant and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at St. Luke’s Parish of Ocean City Maryland and a communicant of St. Mark’s Parish, Catonsville, Maryland. Nancy leaves her daughter Nanette Schweitzer and husband Eric of Ellicott City, MD and son Joseph Monmonier, IV, of Venice, FL; grandchildren Tracey (Aquilla) Kehoe and her husband Christopher of Wakefield, RI, Joseph Monmonier V and his wife Kim of SC, Jason Monmonier and his wife Jamie of MD, Christina Hewko and her husband Brian of New York and the late Michelle L. Aquilla; great grandchildren Joseph Schweitzer, Braedon and Connor Kehoe, Ava and Caroline Monmonier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday August 11, 2012 at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Wakefield. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD.
