Nancy L. Mayhew

Nancy Lynn Mayhew, 56, of Charlestown, RI passed away April 13, 2013 at home. Born in Canton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Keith R. and Mary (Cameron) Mayhew and stepdaughter of Rita (Smith) Mayhew of Canton, NY; loving mother of Michael Keith LeVasseur of Somerville, MA; sister of Donna Caseo and her husband Tom of Clairmont, NY, Susan Feiden and her husband Bob of Albany, NY and Brian Mayhew and his wife Angela of Mechanicville, NY and several nieces and nephews. Nancy graduated from Canton Central High School in 1974 and Elmira College in 1978. She was co-owner of J & N Cleaning Service and attended St. Francis of Assisi Church. Nancy loved animals and was always helping care for people and their pets. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
