Nancy L. Belcourt

Nancy L. Belcourt, 90, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Neale L. Belcourt. Born in Meriden, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Somich) Gilman.

Nancy and her husband Neale lived in Meriden, Connecticut most of their lives, where she was a beloved first grade teacher at Hanover Elementary School for 30 years.

She is survived by her son, Weston Neale Belcourt and his wife Kristen, a daughter, Cynthia “Cindy Lou” Louise Belcourt, and her grandson, Maxwell Owen Mudry.

Visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, August 1st, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a funeral home service at 11 AM. Burial will be private.
