Muriel E. Mulgrew

Muriel E. Mulgrew, 84, of Scarsdale, NY, died Saturday in California. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Mulgrew. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Luke P. and Elizabeth (Smith) Mulleedy. Mrs. Mulgrew was a graduate of Brown University and became an Elementary School Teacher for the Providence, RI and later the Port Chester, NY School Systems. She is survived by three children, Mimi Klein of New York City, Robert Mulgrew of Carlsbad, CA and Scott Mulgrew of Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren, and three sisters and two brothers. The Funeral will be 10 AM Friday from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday 7 – 9 PM.
