Mildred Temple

Mildred Temple, 101, of Exeter, died Sunday. She was the wife of the late William Kent Temple. Born in Long Island City, New York, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Sveningson) Johnson. Mrs. Temple was employed by the former Chemical Bank, now J.P. Morgan Chase. She is survived by a daughter Hazel A. Temple and her husband David N. Whelan of Exeter, RI and a son John W. Temple and his wife Irina Kaplan of Brentwood, NY. She was the sister of the late Roy Johnson, Alice Jones, Hazel Johnson, and Clarence Johnson. Burial will be private in the Huntington Rural Cemetery, Huntington, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Helping hand Rescue Mission, Po Box 325, 225 Broadway, Huntington Station, NY 11746.
