Mickey E. Thweatt

Mickey E. Thweatt, 65, of Charlestown, passed away at home on Sunday. He was the beloved husband of Ellen M. (Doherty) Thweatt for 35 years. Born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, he was a son of the late Pellum and Mary Alice (Grey) Thweatt. Mr. Thweatt was a self–employed carpenter, working primarily in the South County area. He was also a fireman in Pascagoula Mississippi. As his sons were growing up he was active as a Little League Baseball Coach and the Boy Scouts. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Norman Thweatt of Lincoln, Michael Thweatt of Boston, and Bryan Thweatt of Charlestown; a sister, Sandra Pruitt of Lucedale, Mississippi; and two grandchildren, Jalah and Jaelen. He was the father of the late Christopher Thweatt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday in St. Mary’s Church, 437 Carolina Back Road (Rt. 112), Charlestown. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Wednesday, 5-8 PM.
