Michelle A. Sebastian, 58, of Mashantucket, CT, lost her battle with dementia Sunday April 1st, 2018, at home. She was diagnosed in 2013 and fought hard through the most horrible disease in existence. She was the beloved wife of Mark A. Sebastian for 17 years. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of Malcolm and Marilyn (Boyer) Stone of Saunderstown. Michelle loved turtles, the color purple, bling, arts and crafts, country music, her dog Mocha Chip, and her friends and family, especially her grandchildren who always made her smile. She was braver than any of us to go through what she did and had the ability to do it with a smile. This spring, when you see a turtle crossing the road, help her to the other side. We love you Michelle. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by two children, John Nyblom, Jr. and his wife Darlene of New Hampshire and Erica Nyblom of Charlestown; three step-children, Shayna Sebastian of West Warwick, Monique Silvia of Mashantucket, Ct, and Mark Peno of Newport; five grandchildren; a sister, Becky Jordan and her husband Paul of Wakefield; and a brother Michael Stone of Saunderstown. She was predeceased by a sister in-law, Peggy Stone. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday, 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Butler Hospital, Memory & Aging Program, 345 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906 or the PACE Organization, 5 Union Street, Westerly, RI 02891.
