Michelle Renee Goodwin

Michelle Renee Goodwin, 25, of Narragansett, died unexpectedly Tuesday. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of Thom Goodwin of Bradford, Vermont and Diane Thurber of Corinth, Vermont.Michelle attended schools in Vermont and in South Kingstown. She had most recently been working as a Head Chef in local restaurants. Besides her father and mother, she is survived by; her fianc, Nathan Fasching of Narragansett; her step-mother, Gail Auclair of Bradford, VT; a brother, Ryan Goodwin of Providence; a sister Shari Maverick and her husband Bob and their children, Miles, Mara and Adi Maverick of Corinth, Vermont; a sister Jehira Thurber of Corinth, Vermont; a brother, Max Thurber of Corinth, Vermont; a sister, Caitlin Goodwin of South Kingstown; a sister, Carla Kanupp and her husband Andrew of Jacksonville, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Joyce Duerr of Westerly and Robert Goodwin of Johnston; and maternal grandparents David Thurber of New Hampshire and Sharon Thurber of New Hampshire. A private informal gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
