Michele M. Vanasse-Durand

Michele M. Vanasse-Durand, 39, formerly of North Smithfield and Millville, died Saturday, December 12, 2015. Born in Woonsocket, RI she was the daughter of the late Paul R. Vanasse, formally of Wakefield and Linda Vanasse of Charlestown, RI. Michele was a Hairstylist for many years and graduated from the RI Beauty Academy. She recently volunteered at the Divine Intervention dog rescue where she loved to rescue dogs in need of good home. Michele is survived by her two children, Kylie Durand and Jakob Ney: her sister Stephanie Lancellotti and her husband Guy of Narragansett, her two nephews Nicholas and Alexander Lancellotti; her grandfather Paul O. Vanasse of North Smithfield and grandmother Hildegard Keating of North Smithfield; significant other Carl Andrade and his two children Caleb and Nicholas Andrade. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 28th at 10:00 am at St. John’s Church in Slatersville, RI.
