Michele Perreault Coppa, 73, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, after the fight of a lifetime. She was the beloved wife of Michael Coppa and the daughter of the late Jules and Emma (Stagon) Perreault.
Michele had a passion for helping others, and she shared that gift in countless ways throughout her life. She dedicated many years to teaching in Narragansett, a career she loved and one in which she took great pride. She also devoted her time to volunteering at her church, Saint Francis of Assisi, where her kindness and generous spirit touched many lives. Above all else, Michele treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, believing that being together was what life was truly about.
In addition to her devoted husband, Michael, Michele is survived by her two daughters, Kristen Martin and her husband, Ethan, and Elizabeth Coppa her partner Michael Dallaire; her cherished grandchildren, Joshua Dallaire, Rowan Martin, and Waylon Martin; her sister, Denise Fielder; her brothers Jules, Peter and Stephan Perreault, as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply. Her love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those around her will be remembered always.
Visitation for Michele will be held on Monday, July 20th, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St. Wakefield. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Michele's memory. 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215
