Michaela F. Rowlett

Michaela "Mickey" Rowlett, 78, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, in Narragansett, Rhode Island.

Born on September 26, 1946, in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Burke) Kennedy. Michaela dedicated many years to her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where her care and dedication touched the lives of many.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Warren Rowlett Jr., and her children: Elaine (Fitz) Harris and her husband Peter; Kristin (Fitz) Shea and her husband Steven; and Warren Rowlett III. She also leaves behind her stepchildren: Toni (Rowlett) Ravis and her husband Christopher; and David Rowlett. As a proud Nana, Michaela cherished her grandchildren-Matthew Harris, Brittany (Shea) Peters, Christopher Harris, and Patrick Shea- and the laughter of her four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Patrick Kennedy.

Affectionately known as "Mickey," she will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, quick wit, and infectious sense of humor. A devoted fan of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots, she rarely missed a game. Her love of reading brought comfort and joy throughout her life.

A celebration of life will be held on August 24, 2025, at the Mettatuxet Yacht Club from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance. Her burial will be private.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Narragansett Fire and Rescue and the team at South County Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

Mickey's memory will continue to bring smiles to those who knew and loved her. May it offer comfort to all who mourn her passing.
