Michael P. Silva

Michael P. Silva, of South County, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2018. He resided for many years in Hope, RI and was the beloved son of the late Paul J. Silva and Jo Ann Silva of South County. Michael worked for twelve years at Toray Plastics where he enjoyed many friendships with co-workers. To his friends he shared his love of cooking, especially BBQ, hot sauces and secret crockpot recipes. Craft beers and the art of micro brews were a favorite topic for discussion as well. He loved his motorcycle, the outdoors and listening to heavy metal music at concerts and at home. Besides his mother Jo Ann he is survived by his Aunts Debra DuBreuil, Kathryn Silva and Jane and Douglas Flora. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 3 pm to 5 pm followed by a memorial service in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Michaels memory to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
