Michael C. Morancy

Michael C. Morancy, 75, of Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. He was the husband of Dorothy A. (Burda) Morancy for 46 years. Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Clarence and Catherine (Clark) Morancy. Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Mark R. Morancy and his wife Marcia Sagami of Alameda, CA and his sister, Elizabeth Morancy of North Scituate. He also leaves cousins, nieces and nephews and two very special children, Jillian and Nicholas. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 10 am in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
