Mercy M. (Lamphere) Page, 101, of Exeter, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini. She was the wife of the late Vincent A. Piontek and Medard J. Page. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Lamphere) Lallo.
Mercy began her career in the textile industry as a weaver at Columbia Narrow Fabrics. She later worked for Electric Boat-Quonset Point Facility, a division of General Dynamics, where she served as a supervisor until retiring in 1986. In her free time, she found great joy in gardening, knitting, crocheting, and cooking.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Pinch of Exeter, her grandchildren, Dwayne, David, Donald, and Douglas Mack; Richard, Shawn, and Shannon Page; Daniel Pinch, Lynn Smith, Daniel Page, Dennis Page, Jr., twenty great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Bonnie Mack and Dennis Page, and sister of the late Alice Falck, Edward Lallo, and Ernest Lallo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation for Mercy will be Thursday from 4 to 6 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
