Melinda Ann Taylor

Melinda Ann Taylor, 54, of Westerly, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Ellis W Taylor, Jr. and Melinda C. (Hooper) Taylor.

Raised in Narragansett, Melinda greatly enjoyed the beach. She participated in the Special Olympics and was exceptional in their roller skating and bicycling events. You could always catch Melinda smiling ear to ear when she got her daily pumpkin spice latte from Dunkin’ Donuts. Her loved ones described her as loving, a big hugger, active, and beautifully full of life. Melinda’s kind spirit and sweet soul will be greatly missed.

Melinda is survived by her brothers Chester and Stephen Taylor. She was predeceased by her brother Ellis W. Taylor III.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4PM to 6PM at Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI 02879. Burial will be private.
