Maryanne Mimi Hutchins

MaryAnne “Mimi” Hutchins, 63, of East Matunuck, passed away peacefully, Monday June 8th. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francis Fowler and Virginia (Lyall) Hutchins. Mimi worked in the mail room at the University of Rhode Island for 33 years, retiring in 2005. Mimi had a great love for her animals and Potters Pond. She is survived by her twin sister, Nancy Ball of East Matunuck; a brother Frank Hutchins of Florida; five nieces and nephews, whom she adored, Laura Ball, Kyle Hutchins, Mark Hutchins, II, Bryan Hutchins, and Jennifer Hutchins; as well as two great nieces and two great nephews. She was the sister of the late Mark Hutchins. Funeral services are private. Her family kindly request memorial donations be made to the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI, PO Box 458, Wakefield, RI 02880.
