Mary W. St. Pierre, 91, of Charlestown (South Kingstown), and formerly of Glastonbury and Bridgeport Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was the wife of the late Albert J. St. Pierre. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late John F. Windsor and Margaret N. (Neithercut) Windsor. Mrs. St. Pierre was a medical assistant in her early working years. She has been a communicant of St. Mary Church, Carolina, and St James in Charlestown. Mary was a kind and generous soul, a friend to all and had a wonderful sense of humor. Mary had a special affection for animals, especially Orchander, aka “Orchy”, a Weimaraner and Sheila, a rescue Doberman, whom she adored. She was in love with the beach and everything about it – Sun, sand, and sea. She loved her family dearly - and had fond memories of all those that had passed before her. Mary is survived by her sister, Margaret Windsor Sherwood, of Bridgeport and her three children, Jane Sherwood Cullen, of Wakefield, RI; Dr. William Cullen of Pointe Vedra, FL; George Windsor Sherwood of Ipswich, Mass and Ruth McCabe-Sherwood of Ipswich, Mass; and Holly Sherwood DeFeo and her husband Joseph Robert Defeo of Bethel CT. In addition, she is survived by her two stepchildren; Barry St. Pierre of Burlington, CT, and Deborah St. Pierre of Canton CT; her grand nieces and nephews, Tyler Cullen and his wife of Angela, of Bolton, CT; Paige Kiss and her husband Jon, of Edina, Minnesota; Robert Vozza and his partner Sarah Cage, of Newtown, CT; Alexandra Vozza and her partner, Brian Afonso, of Waterbury, CT; Margaret Sherwood and fiancé Michael of Boston, MA; and Katherine Sherwood and her partner Paul of Ipswich, MA. Along with five great grand nieces and nephews, Justice, Conner, Caroline, Avery, and Henry. There are no calling hours and burial will be private. A memorial mass will be celebrated in her honor at the Rhode Island Veterans memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI where her husband is interred
