Mary Teresa Nuzum

Mary Teresa (Seccuro) Nuzum, 94, of Wakefield, RI, died Saturday. Born in Kingmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosa (Biaforia) Seccuro. Mrs. Nuzum lived most her life in Fairmont, WV, before moving to East Greenwich, RI, and then Wakefield,RI. She leaves a son, Jude M. (Jay) Nuzum and his wife Maryanne of Kingston, RI; four grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher and Anne Nuzum of Pawtucket, RI; Thomas Nuzum and Julie Fidler of East Greenwich, RI; James and Elianna Nuzum of Boston, MA; and Alisa and Sean McGann of Newburyport, MA; and five great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robert J. Nuzum. She was the sixth of twelve children; surviving are a brother, James Seccuro of Fairmont, WV; a sister, Katherine Zinkus of New Martinsville, WV; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 AM in Christ The King Church, 180 Old North Rd., Kingston, RI. Visiting hours Monday 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Fairmont, WV.
