Mary Lynch, 92, a lifelong resident of Greenville, died peacefully on May 10, 2011 at the Scallop Shell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wakefield, surrounded by loving members of her family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Michael Lynch and daughter of the late Charles and Nancy Foti. Mary leaves behind her children, Geri Myrick, Donna Chambers, Jackie Hefner, Kathy Curran and Joe Lynch; nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frances Baglini, Carmella and Charles Foti. Mary was the owner and operator of Comb and Curl Beauty Salon in Greenville and also worked as a nursing assistant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 13th at 11:00 AM in St. James Chapel, 2075 Matunuck Schoolhouse Road, Charlestown. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Scallop Shell, 981 Kingstown Rd., South Kingstown, RI 02879. Mary’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Scallop Shell and Cortland Place Nursing Homes for the excellent care that Mary received and for treating her with love and dignity.
