Mary Lindsay

Mary Buchanan Lindsay, 77, formerly of Narragansett and South Kingstown passed peacefully on February 21, 2023 with her family by her side. Mary was born in Illinois and was predeceased by her mother, Imogene Buchanan and her brother William Paul Buchanan, both of Peoria, Illinois.

Mary was a graduate of Monmouth College, Monmouth,Illinois. Prior to working in the insurance field, Mary held many volunteer positions while she raised her family. She loved reading and spending time with her family and friends who were so dear to her.

Mary leaves behind two daughters, Christy Ross (Eric) of South Kingstown and Sara DeCeasare (Christopher) of Chepachet, RI. Mary was the loving grandmother of Jenna Ross, Hailey Ross, and Giana DeCeasare.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 28th at 10 am in Curtis Corner Baptist Church, 591 Curtis Corner Rd, South Kingstown, 02879. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 27th from 5-7 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, 02879.

Mary’s family would like to thank VNA of Care New England for their tremendous support.
