Mary Leavens

Mary Leavens, 74, of Kingstown Road, Narragansett, died Tuesday, October 25th, after a long battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of the late George Leavens. Born in Ticonderoga, NY, she was a daughter of the late Francis J. and Mary (Gregory) Trudeau. Mrs. Leavens was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Allen of Narragansett; two sons, James Leavens of New Hampshire and George Leavens, Jr. of Florida; two grandchildren, Scott Stockton and Sarah Cordeiro; four great grandchildren, Olivia, Anthony, Josh and David, Jr.; a brother, Francis J. Trudeau of New York; and a sister Stella Ann Snell of Florida. She was the sister of the late Sally Trombley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, October 29th, at St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial will take place at a later date. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
