Mary Faith Kemp

Mary Faith Kemp, 75, of Wakefield, passed on Monday, August 7, 2017. She was the wife of 54 years of Kenneth Kemp. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Dante and Elizabeth (Biagioni) Beatini. Besides her husband she is survived by her children Kelley (Kemp) Rodino and husband Vinnie Rodino and Kristen Kemp; grandchildren Danielle Rodino and Michael Rodino. Faith, Faf, Mom, Grammie, Auntie Faith... She answered to them all - with a smile, a wave, a hug and an energy that immediately wrapped you into her life and her love. "Faith" held many jobs over the years - at South County Hospital, South Bay Manor, Christian Brothers Center to name a few. She had friends everywhere she went - never afraid to talk to a stranger, always happy to spend time gabbing with a friend. "Faf" married Ken in 1962 and they began a life of raising a family, watching their kids and grandkids grow and traveling often to Maine and beyond. "Mom" was the job she did day in, day out even once her little girls weren't little anymore. All of Kelley and Kristen's friends loved spending time with Mom as she listened to all of their stories and filled them full of whatever goodie had just come out of the oven. "Grammie" was the ultimate grandmother. Always willing to play another game, read another story, bake another cookie - she treasured every moment with Dani and Michael and was so proud to watch them grow into wonderful young adults. "Auntie" to many, she told stories galore of her times babysitting for Leah and considered herself blessed in recent years to become Auntie Faith to Leah's daughter Caroline. We invite friends and family to join us to celebrate Faith's life Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 3pm-5pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield and Monday, August, 14, 2017 at 11am at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 383 Old North Road, Kingston, RI.
