Mary Elizabeth Kenyon Kagels

Mary Elizabeth (Kenyon) Kagels, 96, formerly of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Florida, died Monday. She was the wife of the late Theodore Kagels. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Tucker) Kenyon. She grew up on the East Side of Providence and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Providence. She was a 1940 graduate of Pembroke College. While living in Northboro, Massachusetts, she was very active with the Trinity Church. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Robert K. and Marilyn Kagels of West Hartford, CT, Raymond S. and Joyce Kagels of Narragansett, Linda K. and Mark Johnson of Estero, FL, and Richard T. and Malouh Kagels of St. Petersburg, FL; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Albert Kenyon and David Kenyon. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday in the Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Wednesday 6 – 8 pm.
