Mary E. Hume

Mary E. Hume (Cinquegrana),82, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Hume. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (Stone) Cinquegrana. Mary worked for the former Ladd Center for many years before becoming a school bus driver for the Town of South Kingstown for over 20 years, before retiring to play with grandchildren. Mary loved making cakes for her family, birthdays, weddings you name it, she made it. But most of all she loved being with her grandchildren and family. Mary leaves behind her children, Christine Cordice and son-in-law Jim of Wakefield, Russell Hume and daughter-in-law Jody of Wakefield, step son Stephan (Ruth) of Jacksonville, FL, William (Kana) of Fayetteville, NC, and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Steven (Kristen), Christopher, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Karen and Heather. She was the sister of Catherine Olean, Richard Cinquegrana, Carol Sandrelli, and the late Charles Cinquegrana, Jr. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9-11am followed by a funeral service at 11am in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
