Mary Anna Garlick

March 26, 1919 — November 4, 2009

Mary Anna Garlick, 90 of West Kingston, died Wednesday. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Garlick. Born in Worcester, MA she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marian St. Amand. A devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed cooking, baking and singing. She is survived by six children, Patricia Tougas of Carolina, Carolyn Bergstrom of Richland, WA, Raymond Garlick of Wakefield, Teresa Cornell of North Stonington, CT, David Garlick of Akorn, OH, Laurence Garlick of Kingsland, GA; twenty grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Leo St. Amand, Francis St Amand, Edward St. Amand, all of Worcester, MA; four sisters, Jane Gemma of Warwick, Cecil Catterson of Cranston, Florence Lynch and Alice Godzur, both of Worcester, MA.. She was the mother of the late Marie Hardin and sister of the late Irene Harpin, Theresa St Amand, Albert St. Amand and George St. Amand. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations may be made to the South Kingstown Nursing Home Activities Fund, 2115 South County Trail, West Kingston, RI 02892.
