Mary P. Gallagher

Mary P. Gallagher, 91, of Charlestown, passed away Saturday. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel C. Gallagher. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Lucio and Domenica (Lancellotta) Carano. Mrs. Gallagher was a secretary in the OR at the Cayuga Medical Center, retiring in 1988. She is survived by four children, Michael Gallagher of Coventry, David Gallagher of Warwick, Marylynn Whittaker of Ithaca, NY, and Frances Eames of North Kingstown; three brothers, Vincent Carano of Charlestown, Louis Carano of Charlestown, and Albert Carano of Charlestown; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Joseph Carano. Funeral services will be private.
