Mary Frances Doherty

Mary Frances Doherty, 85, of South Kingstown, RI, passed away Saturday, May 28th. She was the wife of the late Thomas Doherty. Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Nora E. (Manning) Ryan. Mrs. Doherty was employed for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for over 25 years, retiring as a Senior Statistical Plans Analyst. She is survived by a brother, Dr. John Ryan of Naples, FL; two sisters-in-law, Rita Doherty of Chelmsford, MA and Elaine Doherty of Norwood, MA; and her many beloved nieces and nephews. She was the sister-in-law of the late James & Elizabeth Doherty, William Doherty and Edward Doherty. The funeral will be 10 am Friday from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 am at St Francis of Assisi Church 114 High Street, Wakefield, RI. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
