Mary A. Di Cola

Mary A. Di Cola, 101, formerly of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, May 20th. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angela (Scotto De Santolo) Di Cola. Miss. Di Cola was a Service Representative for the Social Security Administration, retiring in 1975. She enjoyed opera and belonged to an opera group, and she enjoyed travelling to Italy and other countries in Europe, and had also been to Hong Kong and Israel. She is survived by a sister, Rose Slonim and her husband Donn of Narragansett; a brother Louis Di Cola of Providence; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Conchetta Leonetti, Vincent, Anthony, Michael, John, and George DiCola. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday, May 28th from 9 – 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
