March 28, 1926 — August 10, 2018

Mary A. Chinigo, 92, of South Kingstown, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018. She was the wife of the late Joseph Chinigo. Born in Hinsdale, NH, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Remillard) Gaudette. Mrs. Chinigo was a teachers assistant for the South Kingstown School Department. She enjoyed spending her time reading and being with her family. She is survived by her daughter Gail Tibbits and her husband Andrew; grandchildren Shannon Tibbits and Michael Tibbits and his wife Cassy; great-granddaughter Ava Tibbits. She was predeased by her siblings William Gaudette, Gertrude Errico, and Charlotte Walsh. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 9am from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St, Wakefield. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours will be on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 5-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
