Mary A. Calitri

Mary A. Calitri, 95, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on Saturday. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio D. Calitri. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late John and Adeline (DelPozzo) DiSalvo. Mrs. Calitri was employed at the University of Rhode Island for 37 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and she enjoyed cooking. She is survived by a son, John Calitri of Wakefield, two grandchildren, Joshua J. Calitri of Wakefield and Samantha A. Riemer and her husband Jason of Richmond; three great-grandsons, Jarod, Anthony, and Jack Riemer; and a sister Susan Willis of Wakefield. The funeral will be Saturday 9 am from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
