Mary M. Beck

Mary M. Beck, Cmc, 81, passed away on June 30, 2023 with family by her side. She was the wife of Ret. Lt. James T. Beck, RISP for 60 years.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Mary R. Ronan. She was a graduate of Bryant College.

Mary retired from the Town of Narragansett as Town Clerk in 2003. Upon retirement she was an avid quilter trailing across the lands to quilt shows. She also tried to master the game of golf.

Besides her husband, Mary is survived by her four children Chris, Connie, Jim and Gretchen and her six grandchildren Seamus, Liam, Jordan, Cameron, Bebe and Coco.

Mary was preceded in death by her two brothers John Ronan and William Ronan

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, July 7th at 10:30 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Thursday, July 6th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
