Martina W. Dalton-Quinn, 59, of Wakefield died Sunday, while at home after a four year battle with cancer. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Martin F. Dalton and Marian (Fleming) Dalton and sister of the late Robert F. Dalton. Martina is survived by her loving husband of 23 years John Quinn, her aunt, Beatrice M. Fleming, her sister-in-law Elizabeth M. Dalton, nephews John Dalton and his wife Heather Taylor-Dalton, Martin F. Dalton and her cousin Margaret Fleming. A graduate of Classical High School and the University of Rhode Island, Martina taught kindergarten for 33 years at the Moses Brown School in Providence. She was devoted to her profession of early childhood education and an avid mystery reader who enjoyed cooking and making her collage cards. Martina especially enjoyed spending time with her husband at the beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Friday in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield. Visiting hours will be at the AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield Thursday 4-7 PM.
